Salman Khan snubbed at Screen Awards? Salman Khan
Is Salman Khan not worthy of a nomination in the Best Actor category? This is the question the scandalized fans of the superstar are asking after Salman failed to secure a single nomination at the recently held Colors Screen Awards.

To the added chagrin of Salman Khan’s fans, the actor’s rival Shahrukh Khan was awarded the Best Actor by Popular Choice trophy for his acting in Don 2. On the other hand, Salman Khan, the man behind the biggest blockbuster of the year, Bodyguard and also the leading man of another hit, Ready, was snubbed.

In fact, when Shahrukh Khan was asked by a reporter on why Salman Khan was not nominated for Bodyguard, SRK grinned and shrugged.

Interestingly, after Akshay Kumar’s exit as the co-host of Colors Screen Awards, Salman Khan was touted as the most favoured to host the show, but then the show’s organizers didn’t want to create an awkward situation by putting Salman and Shahrukh on the same podium as the latter, too, was slated to host a segment of the show, which he did.

So Salman Khan kept away from the award show and remained busy in Celebrity Cricket League while Shahrukh Khan emerged as the scene stealer at Colors Screen Awards, even winning two trophies during the evening.
