A scuffle breaks out between cameramen and Oprah Winfrey’s bodyguards

Oprah Winfrey’s bodyguards rough up media in Vrindavan
Oprah Winfrey’s visit to the holy Indian town of Vrindavan saw an ugly turn when a scuffle broke out between her bodyguards and the media.

The American talk show queen is shooting for her show ‘Next Chapter’ in India and it was during a visit to a temple in Vrindavan that the things got heated up between the cameramen and Oprah’s bodyguards. From what we learn, when the media cameramen were trying to film Oprah Winfrey they were pushed back by her security guards and a scuffle broke out resultantly.

While no one was injured in the scuffle, some cameras were reportedly broken. The media persons in response raised a hue and cry and the police arrested three of Oprah’s bodyguards, say agency reports.

The bodyguards, all of them Indians, were later released when they gave a written apology to the media.

Oprah Winfrey has been attracting a lot of media attention during her visit to India. She has already visited the slums of Mumbai and on Thursday morning she met up with the widows in Vrindavan and Mathura and also took part in a Bhajan at an ashram.

She will also be attending the Jaipur Literature Festival.
