Ranbir Kapoor says his father inspires him

Rishi Kapoor has left a lot of people stunned with his incredible performance in Agneepath. His son Ranbir Kapoor, who is himself an upcoming superstar, says he is inspired by his dad.
“I am hearing such amazing stuff about my father's performance in ‘Agneepath’. He is a brilliant actor. If a person is a good actor then the person will continue to work lifelong and keep giving good performances. He is 55 plus but he is still getting so of much of work to do,” Ranbir Kapoor is quoted as saying by a news agency.
In the movie, Rishi Kapoor plays Rauf Lala, a mobster who smuggles drugs and auctions off young girls.
Ranbir Kapoor disclosed that his father still gets excited like a child when he gets a good role.
“There is some sort of childishness (in him) when he gets offers for any movie or any new character. His passion for work...for cinema inspires me to do better work,” he adds.
When asked if he looks forward to work with his dad in near future, Ranbir said: “No one has really offered us a script that both of us liked. We both are individual actors and if a good script, good characters come our way and we both like it then we will definitely work together.”
Ranbir Kapoor has been scooping Best Actor trophies at award functions for his performance in Rockstar. Be ready to see his dad Rishi Kapoor do the same for Best Supporting Actor next year.
