Mallika Sherawat apparently doesn’t mind the milling crowds, provided her identity remains concealed. No wonder the burqa has a permanent place in her wardrobe.

The siren recently stepped out and boarded a ferry to reach the shooting location of her film Kismat, Love, Paisa, Dilli on time. However, Mallika Sherawat escaped being mobbed because she hid herself behind a burqa.

Apparently, the actress realized that travelling by car won’t get her to the shooting location on time, so she decided to take a ferry. And the burqa came handy in the situation.

This isn’t the first time the oomph empress has dodged the public eye by donning a burqa. She was previously seen in a burqa at an airport and -- who knows! -- must have gone out in the get-up on other occasions as well that didn’t come to the media’s notice.

Recently, even Vidya Balan donned a burqa to visit a theatre and see the public reaction to her film The Dirty Picture. What more, even Himesh Reshammiya is said to have worn a burqa once to avoid the crowds. Some outfit it is.
