The Terminator is here. The 1980s’ Hollywood action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger has come to India for a summit and will also present an award to Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan.
Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly be the guest of honour at 4th Panasonic Green Globe Foundation awards in New Delhi on Thursday. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan will be flying to the capital to receive a Green Globe award from Schwarzenegger for ‘outstanding efforts by a celebrity towards a greener globe’.
Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan grew up watching the films of Arnold Schwarzenegger, particularly the Terminator series.
Upon his arrival in Delhi, Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted: “This is how they greeted me in Delhi. Does anyone have some good restaurants or other tips?”
This is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first trip to India. He will stay in Delhi for a whole day. It’s not clear if he will fly back after the event or visit other places in the country.
But we do hope for the charming ‘Terminator’ to leave with his famous words: “I’ll be back”. |
