Salman Khan refers Aamir Khan to ‘Bodyguard’ director

Salman Khan gave south Indian director Siddique his dream Bollywood debut with Bodyguard. The film created new box office records, and Salman was extremely pleased with the director. Now, Siddique is planning his next Bollywood project and wants to do it with Sallu bhai. But after learning about the film, Salman had other things going on in his mind.

Siddique is again planning an entertainer and thinks Salman is best for it, he even got producer Shyam Bajaj, who did the movie Bandhan with Salman to back the project. Salman did hear about the film and also appreciated the subject but felt that he is not the right person to do this movie; instead he suggested good friend Aamir Khan’s name to the director.

As a source is quoted as saying, “Salman felt that it was more suited for Aamir. Besides, he also conceded that he’s currently tied up with prior commitments like Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2.”

Salman Khan even told Siddique that he can talk to Aamir Khan if he wants it. Siddique, on the other hand, maintains that it’s too early to speak about the casting. The film is an action-romance with some humour and also a thriller element.

Action, romance and humour -- all in one -- we think the movie suits Salman better than Aamir.
