Kareena Kapoor will do two item songs in the movie Heroine, comes the breaking news! But what would sound more interesting to you is the title of one of her item songs in the film. After her sensuous mujra act Dil Mera Muft Ka for Agent Vinod, Bebo is gearing up for Halkat Jawaani in Heroine.

You savoured Sheila Ki Jawaani, Chikni Chameli and now time is for Halkat Jawaani. There is no denying that the Mumbaiites know the word ‘halkat’ like the back of their hand. For others, let us clarify: this colloquial word in Mumbaiya lingo means ‘crazy’ or ‘mischievous’.

Now, there is also a buzz that Kareena Kapoor will be doing lavani in this song; the energetic Marathi folk dance, performed mostly by women in Maharashtra, is Bollywood’s new ‘it’ dance form after choreographer Ganesh Acharya revived it through Chikni Chameli in Agneepath. Now you know from where the inspiration came for Halkat Jawaani!

If Katrina Kaif ruled the roost with her pelvic thrusts in Chikni Chameli, Vidya Balan is also showing her sensuous antics in a lavani item song for the upcoming release Ferrari Ki Sawaari; and now it’s Kareena’s turn to show her jalwa.

The song Halkat Jawaani is composed by Salim-Sulaiman. The second round of filming is underway for Heroine from today onward. Director Madhur Bhandarkar will soon shoot the song with Kareena. Wondering who is going to be the choreographer for this spicy number!
