|An unwelcome news for the fans of Salman Khan. The superstar’s jaw and facial pain, a symptom of trigeminal neuralgia, is said to have returned.
Six months after undergoing a non-invasive surgery for trigeminal neuralgia (TN) in the US, Salman Khan is said to be experiencing pain in his jaw again. The pain first returned when the superstar filmed for Ek Tha Tiger with Katrina Kaif in the cold climes of Dublin in Ireland last year. However, as soon as that schedule was over and the crew moved down to the relatively warmer Istanbul, the pain alleviated.
But now, Salman Khan is said to be experiencing similar pain due to a knot in his jaw, reports say.
Though TN is curable, it resurfaces in about 10 or 15 percent of cases after the treatment. Salman falls in this narrow bracket, it seems.
The superstar is still said to be in consultation with his doctors and has to undergo another diagnosis soon, we hear.
The last shooting schedule of Ek Tha Tiger in Cuba went off smoothly for Salman -- at least that what he made everyone to believe.
TN has been described as one of the most painful conditions known to the medical science and Salman Khan has displayed remarkable courage in dealing with it. The nerve disorder is characterized by intense pain in the face, which aggravates in cold climate.
