Rockstar girl Nargis Fakhri who made news not so much because of her acting as for her protruding pout has now bagged her second Bollywood film.
The movie will reportedly be produced by Nikhil Advani, he of the triple flops -- Salaam-e-Ishq, Chandni Chowk To China and Patiala House -- all of which Nikhil himself directed. The new film won’t be directed by Nikhil, and it’s still not clear if that was the reason Nargis agreed to act in it.
Jokes apart, the film will reportedly have Arjun Rampal opposite Nargis. Now, Arjun, himself a model-turned-actor, has made a commendable headway from a wooden actor to a National Award winner. Perhaps he would have some handy tips to dole out to Nargis Fakhri, who has so far only been able to clinch a few good product endorsements following the Rockstar debut.
Before the release of Rockstar, Nargis was touted as the next big thing in Bollywood but her plastic expressions and a vain pout worked against her. Though the pout’s still there, we hope the girl betters herself on the acting front.
Lately she has been in the news for increasing closeness to Shahid Kapoor and was seen enjoying herself at the actor’s birthday party in Goa last month.
