Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan nominated as worst actors

Celebrating the worst in Bollywood, the annual Ghanta Awards are back. This year the competition among the worst is going to be tough. Both Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan are nominated in the worst actor category. If Salman is in the race for his performance in the blockbusters Ready and Bodyguard, Shahrukh is in the worst list of actors for his hit films Ra.One and Don 2. Who would win?

Ghanta Awards, a rip-off of Hollywood’s Razzies, last year named Aishwarya Rai the worst actress for her film Action Replayy. This year the award hopes to be bigger because the two popular Khans of Bollywood are in the nominations. The man behind the Indian Razzies is Karan Anshuman. He along with Prashant Rajkhowa has created this award function which takes the mickey out of the worst of Bollywood cinema.

Karan says, last year, was the 30th year of the Razzies, and he felt terrible that they hadn’t acknowledged Bollywood in any way considering how much more prolific we were at producing garbage than Hollywood. Point taken, Karan!
