|With all the talk about Salman Khan rolling up his sleeves to sign a film with the martial arts star Jackie Chan, the question that begs to be asked is who of the two is better at doing action.
South filmmaker Aascar Ravichandran is in the process of pulling off a casting coup in a film to be made on a humongous budget of Rs. 400 crore. The filmmaker is in talks with three super duper stars of three different film industries to play principal roles in the movie. The three stars are Bollywood’s Salman Khan, Hong Kong’s Jackie Chan and a south superstar, probably Suriya.
Now, we all know that the style of both Salman Khan and Jackie Chan in doing action on screen is as different as chalk and cheese. Salman relies more on brawn force, the sheer power of the muscles and sinews, to decimate his foes in films. In comparison, Jackie Chan’s action is subtler. He relies on a slew of martial arts forms to turn fights into a jaw-dropping spectacle of acrobatic movements, with a dash of comedy sprinkled in all the stunts.
Jackie Chan, 57, has helmed the successful international blockbusters like Rush Hour, Rumble In The Bronx and the hit franchise Police Story. On the other hand, Salman Khan, 46, has been seen only in Bollywood films and has helmed the actioners like Wanted, Dabangg and Bodyguard.
But imagine what might happen when the two big stars of action genre chum up! Whom would you pick as your favourite?
