Calling Katrina Kaif in Gurgaon!

The craze for Katrina Kaif among her fans can be gauged by an unsavoury coincidence that has robbed a girl in Gurgaon of her sleep.

The trouble started for the 33-year-old Shipra Seth, a software professional on a medical leave, when she started getting calls from anonymous callers demanding to speak to Katrina Kaif. To her shock, Shilpra found out that her phone number had been mistakenly printed in an ad by a soft-drinks company, inviting the fans to dial Katrina’s number. The ad featured Katrina Kaif.

As per reports, the commercial boasted “Katrina ka number, label ke ander”. But inside the label was a randomly chosen number, which turned out to be the number of Shipra from Gurgaon.

Shipra claims that every day she gets around a 1000 calls and SMSs, some of them lewd and vulgar, from the people who want to talk to Katrina Kaif. She also says that she’s now not able to sleep and is on medication.

Shipra is learnt to have slapped a legal notice on the soft-drinks company that printed her phone number in the ad.

By the way, for the fans taken in by that ad, let us inform you that Katrina Kaif was not even in India for over a month. She was shooting for Yash Chopra’s film in London with Shahrukh Khan. She and Shahrukh only returned to Mumbai earlier this week.
