A couple of Bollywood exes were put in a rather awkward situation when they came under one roof for the Mukesh Ambani bash to celebrate Sachin Tendulkar’s 100 centuries earlier this week. Who were these exes? Sample the names: Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor.
By a remarkable coincidence, Salman Khan arrived at the bash with Karisma Kapoor, and Abhishek Bachchan obviously drove in with his gorgeous wifey Aishwarya Rai. Now, we don’t need to tell you the history that Salman and Ash share or the botched up equation between Abhishek and Karisma, who were supposed to get married before she walked out and got hitched with Sanjay Kapur.
More than anything, everyone was curious to see how they would be seated at Sachin’s felicitation. There, the organizers sure had used tact and made sure enough distance was kept between Aishwarya and Salman.

That doesn’t mean that covert glances weren’t stolen or eye contacts not made. For one, Salman Khan seemed in a very jolly mood and when he came on stage to talk about Sachin’s achievement, he left the gathering in splits with his humour. Check out what Salman said about Sachin.
When the gathering switched from a formal tribute-making mode to a casual partying mood, then too, sources say, Ash and Abhi kept away from Salman and Karisma. We’re sure a lot of sighs of relief must be heaved once the party got over. |
