Just a couple of days back, buzz was that Anushka Sharma has been finalized as the female lead opposite Shahrukh Khan by Farah Khan for her next project! However, Farah has now completely denied all such rumours and said that she has no idea where these stories came from!
Even Farah Khan’s hubby Shirish Kunder denied rumours of casting Anushka Sharma, coz when a fan asked him - “is it true that Farah finalised Anushka for 'Happy new year' opposite SRK?” Shirish replied: NOT TRUE
But on the brighter side, it’s now CONFIRMED that Farah Khan is working with Shahrukh Khan in Happy New Year! Farah said that she is yet to choose a female lead opposite SRK, which naturally means that Shahrukh has been signed as the male lead!
And since no female lead has been officially zeroed in by Farah, be sure of the fact that the guessing game is not going to get over by any means! However, if you were the casting director, who would have you cast opposite Shahrukh Khan? Let us know via your comments! |
