First song: Arjun Kapoor-Parineeti Chopra in the song ‘Afton Ke Parinde’ from Ishaqzaade

The first trailer of Ishaqzaade had guns, goons, a spitfire college girl and a dabangg lad, and the first song, Afton Ke Parinde, also comes along with its fiery elements, but this time better not miss the love-struck jodi of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, who will set the screen on fire.

Set in the badlands of north India, Ishaqzaade has director Habib Faisal of Do Dooni Chaar fame coming up with a pure romantic drama of two youngsters, nowadays a rarity in Bollywood. Arjun Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of the ‘unpredictable’ Parma, while Parineeti Chopra does the role of the ‘ferocious’ Zoya in Ishaqzaade.

The movie is a story about the two fiery bloods played by Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, and their fight for power and supremacy. The movie showcases the common incidences of small town clan wars. There is one kingdom, one throne, and these two wild young people, who are born to hate, but destined to love. The lovers’ turbulent journey unfolds in the rest of the film. A large part of the movie Ishaqzaade was shot at Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, as the film is set in the dusty bylanes of a small town.

The movie has music by Amit Trivedi, while the power-packed song has lyrics by Kaushar Munir. The movie set to hit the theatres on May 18.
