Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan’s 'Happy' reunion!
Farah Khan to bring Shahrukh and Abhishek together

After mending fences with Farah Khan, Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan is apparently looking ahead at a reunion with Abhishek Bachchan as well. And it’s all happening in Farah’s next film Happy New Year.
Even though Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan have never been foes, the strained equation of the star with Aishwarya Rai following her unceremonious exit from the film Chalte Chalte spilled out into his relation with the Bachchans as well, so much so that SRK was conspicuously missing from the list of guests at the wedding of Aishwarya and Abhishek in 2007.
The differences were gradually ironed out over the course of subsequent years, but it still needed a film together for SRK and Abhi to tide over all the negative vibe surrounding them. That chance has now come with Farah Khan’s film Happy New Year.
The movie will reportedly have Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan sharing screen space for the second time after Karan Johar brought them together in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna a few years ago. Though there has been no official confirmation of it yet, buzz is that Abhishek will have almost equal footage in the film as SRK. The leading ladies of the two stars are yet to be finalized.
Reports say that even Boman Irani will have a special role in the film.
Happy New Year is likely to go on the floors in the second half of 2012. There is a possibility of Shahrukh Khan sparing a few dates for Farah Khan before shooting Rohit Shetty’s film Chennai Express in October.
