Will Aishwarya Rai keep her Cannes date?
Doubts rise over Aishwarya Rai’s Cannes visit; but the lady might keep her Cannes date

Rumour is abuzz that Aishwarya Rai, presently under the scanner for her plumpness, might skip her visit to 65th Cannes International Film Festival in France this year. However, sources hint us that contrary to all speculation she might keep her date with Cannes.

Aishwarya Rai has been a regular at Cannes for a decade now, mostly as the face of the cosmetic giant L’Oreal. She is slated to attend the film fest this year as well, but there has been a rumour that she might not go to the French Riviera because of being overweight, an issue much debated in Indian media.

The Cannes International Film Festival will be held from May 16 to May 27.

From what we hear, Aishwarya Rai will take along her six-month-old daughter Aaradhya with her. She will walk the red carpet for two days, along with other pretty faces of L’Oreal.

Also headed to Cannes this year is Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jessia. Arjun, who is the ambassador of liquor brand Chivas, will promote the credo of 'Live with Chivalry' at Cannes.

Bollywood beauties like Mallika Sherawat and Bipasha Basu are also expected to attend the cinematic extravaganza in Cannes.
