The song ‘Humse Pyar Kar Le Tu’ from Teri Meri Kahaani has Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra indulging in teasing banter.

Rewind the clock to 1910. In Lahore, a young poet named Javed (Shahid Kapoor) is trying to woo a girl named Rukhsar (Priyanka Chopra). He starts off with a romantic couplet, then breaks into a song and lists out a panoply of reasons for her to fall in love with him.

There’s raillery and roistering, a little romantic thrust and parry between the couple and we as audience can’t help but enjoy it all. Then there’s also a signature dance with Shahid yanking at the hem of his pathani suit.

The song ‘Humse Pyar Kar Le Tu’ has been sung by Mika and Shreya Ghoshal. The music is composed by Sajid Wajid.

Teri Meri Kahaani is directed by Kunal Kohli. The film tells three love stories set in different time periods: 1910, 1960 and 2012. All stories feature both Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra as lovers. The film is slated to release in June this year.
