Mahesh Bhatt and Subhash Ghai accused of casting couch
The ugly spectre of casting couch rears its head again, or is rather dredged out and spoken about in no uncertain terms by the outspoken and don’t-care-a-damn adman, impresario, and actor Suhel Seth.

Seth has trained his gun on the Bollywood producers Mahesh Bhatt and Subhash Ghai by indirectly laying the accusation that they (Bhatt and Ghai) have been indulging in casting couch for years.

Suhel Seth’s revelation comes through a video posted on his YouTube channel ‘Getting Real With Suhel Seth’.

In the video Seth eulogizes the movie Kahaani for its brilliant plot and lambasted the Bollywood stereotypes seen by dozens in films. Emphasising the need for a good story and plot, Suhel Seth said it’s time the filmmakers got off their casting couch and hired good scriptwriters.

“My appeal to all the Mahesh Bhatts and Subhash Ghais and all the titans would be to get off your casting couch - you've been there, done her. And start investing in people who can write good scripts,” Suhel Seth said.

So far, Mahesh Bhatt hasn’t responded to the allegation.
