The brand ambassador of cosmetic giant L’Oreal, Aishwarya has walked the red carpet at Cannes umpteen times over the last ten years, but since this year a lot has been written and said on her post-pregnancy kilos, many opine that Sonam Kapoor will be the one who will steal the thunder at the red carpet with her hip and chic style mantra.
Sonam Kapoor’s debut at Cannes last year earned her zillion of accolades. The actress has even attended some of the big fashion weeks happening on this earth over the last one year, hobnobbing with the ace designers. It is noticeable that it took little time for Sonam to get herself noticed at the international fashion circuit. Now the international media knows her and fashionistas from across the world write about her dressing sense and the way she carries off anything from Chanel to Prabal Gurung. Thus not only Aishwarya Rai, all eyes are also on Sonam Kapoor.

The results were in favour of Aishwarya because 51% of ApunKaChoice people think that Ash is going to be the winner at the red carpet, but Sonam wasn’t lagging behind either as 49% are of the view that the stunner will wow all at Cannes. Aishwarya Rai is all set to walk the red carpet at the ongoing 65th Cannes Film Festival on Thursday that is today, while Sonam Kapoor has already attended two parties at the French Riviera wearing Gucci. If reports are to be believed than Aishwarya’s wardrobe for Cannes has ethnic wears and not gowns. She is expected to wear an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla chikankari sari on her first day at the fest, however, about Sonam, we are clueless.
