What happens when two beauties meet a handsome guy and they start living together? It’s a Cocktail of confused, complicated relationships of love and friendship. Director Homi Adajania is back after a hiatus with the romedy Cocktail starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. Whoa! doesn’t that look like a heady mix. Coincidentally, the movie also has a ‘daaru’ song -- Daaru Desi. Watch it here:

Though the music of the film is yet to release, the masses have appreciated the songs because the first trailer of the movie featured tracks like the popular Punjabi dance number Angrezi Beat and the frisky Tum Hi Ho Bandhu. Both the songs have instantly clicked with the audience. Now, Daaru Desi is out!

Sung by Benny Dayal and Shalmali Kholgade, the song Daaru Desi has a tipsy feel to it and has words like Chadi mujhe yaari teri aisi. Jaise daaru desi. Khatti mithi batein hain nashe si. Jaise daaru desi. Moreover, the picturisation of the song on the three protagonists makes it further interesting. Notice Saif when he tries to entertain the two girls by wearing fur and a mask, but gets to see two men in front of him and is left embarrassed, while the girls enjoy the hilarious scene from a hiding.

Overall, the song shows the main plot of the film -- three different people sharing laughter and joy under one roof. The rest in the lives of these three inseparables is Cocktail.

For now, enjoy the Daaru Desi song, a toast to friendship.
