After making her gracious presence felt at the Cannes 2012, the beautiful Aishwarya Rai attended the opening of the Bulgari Hotel and Residences in London on June 12. The gorgeous actress once again went traditional for the event and chose a Sabyasachi Mukherjee creation to wear.

The splendid black-and-white ensemble, made of net and tulle, seamlessly blended with Aishwarya’s pristine beauty, making her look stunningly beautiful. Sabyasachi Mukherjee also used intricate golden thread work for the dupatta (long stole), resulting in a couture fusion of the west and India. If the lower part of anarkali resembled a gown, the wide net dupatta in black with golden flower embroidered on it gave the ensemble a very Indian touch.

Aishwarya Rai let her hair open and completed the look by carrying a mini clutch. We remember what Sabysachi Mukherjee said when he styled Aishwarya for the recent Longines event in Dubai, “Aishwarya has the most beautiful face. If I were to dress her up again, I would make sure that her clothes are simple.” Yes, this dress was simple but equally sensuous and appealing. Many can also see that Ash’s double chin is less visible and the chubbiness on her face is much reduced. No matter what, she enthralls her fans.

Ain’t Aishwarya Rai raising the glamour stakes with her dazzling appearance in London! She was invited as a special guest to celebrate the opening of the Bulgari Hotel and Residences in the city. The actress also got a chance to meet Italian actress and filmmaker Isabella Rossellini. It’s heard that Ash even invited Isabella Rossellini to her place. The event also saw British-Indian actor Dev Patel.
