Salman Khan didn’t hit Katrina Kaif!

It’s certainly the hottest piece of goss to come out in recent times. The B-town is abuzz with talks of the alleged fight between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif on the sets of Ek Tha Tiger. However, there seems to be more smoke than fire to such canards.

What exactly happened between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif? According to a film magazine, which carried this news, Sallu went back to his bratty ways during a patchwork shoot of YRF’s Ek Tha Tiger in Film City. Salman was supposedly sitting out on the set, waiting for his heroine to emerge from her vanity van. When she did, the actress was allegedly in a figure-hugging, cleavage-revealing dress that showed too much skin. Or so Salman is said to have felt. Seeing her, the actor, known for his mercurial temper, unleashed a torrent of foul words in front of everyone, and, according to the magazine, picked up a stick lying nearby and allegedly hit Kat.

However, a source close to Katrina Kaif scotches this rumour while talking to a daily and says no ugly incident happened between Katrina and Salman during the shooting on Ek Tha Tiger in Mumbai. The ‘Dabangg’ Khan cares for Kat a lot as she is like family to him. Lashing out at the magazine, the friend added, “People make up a lot of stories. Only because they couldn't keep up to their commitment of making an appearance at an awards function, rumours started flying.”

The magazine also reported that hurt by Salman Khan’s behaviour, the actress retreated to her vanity van and called Kareena Kapoor, who was shooting nearby. Kareena, who is friends with Salman, came by immediately to calm him down. The source also quashed this incident saying that how did the magazine know what happened inside Katrina’s vanity when she had locked it. Moreover, Kareena visiting her friend Salman doesn’t necessarily have to be instigated by a phone call from his co-star, reveals the source.

Katrina Kaif is said to be unperturbed by these rumours doing the rounds. She is perhaps too busy to react to it.
