Ranbir Kapoor-Ileana’s sweet kiss in ‘Barfi!’
She has shot for a kissing scene with Ranbir Kapoor in her debut Bollywood film! Meet the south hottie Ileana aka Ileana D'cruz whose first kissing scene with the heartthrob has already made it to the first trailer of her film Barfi! released recently. Those who have seen the breathtaking first trailer of Anurag Basu’s film may also have noticed the tender-sweet kiss between the two.

Ileana is paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the film, but she is quite unlike him. If Ranbir plays a deaf and mute character in Barfi!, Ileana has no such debility and is one among the few who have dialogues in the movie. The lead pair’s tender and passionate onscreen chemistry is palpable in the first trailer, and the sweet lip-lock between Ranbir and Ileana just adds zing to it.

However, the kiss is anything but steamy, and then too Ileana was nervous before shooting it. While talking to the press at the launch of the Barfi! trailer, the actress revealed her experience about the kiss. “It wasn't the kiss I was nervous about but the emotions behind it which was the key element of the scene. I think the kiss came out pretty well”, she quipped.

After listening to her, Ranbir Kapoor even faked a smooch with director Anurag Basu. We can also see that the kiss was well shot in the background of a misty winter day.

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the movie is about Murphy (Ranbir Kapoor), but everyone calls him Barfi! Always ready with a prank up his sleeve, he’s quite a charmer, especially with the ladies! His bitter-sweet relationship with two beautiful young ladies, Shruti (Ileana D’cruz) and Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) sets in motion a chain of events that turns his life upside down!
