Watch: Ajith rocks in second trailer of ‘Billa 2’

Ajith’s star-power and the title ‘Billa’ makes the film Billa 2 the most-anticipated Tamil release of the season. So no wonder that the second trailer of the film is all the rage on the web

After Mankatha, which came out last year, Ajith’s die-hard fans are eagerly waiting for the Billa prequel, which was earlier supposed to get released in May, but now will release on July 13. The movie’s first trailer received a tremendous response and now its second trailer is out.

The actor, whose eyes say it all and is given the nickname Thala by his fans, is all set to make a smashing comeback with Billa 2, and the kind of response the second trailer is getting, it’s evident why the fans are crazy waiting for the prequel. The video has created much sensation on youtube and has already garnered 439,805 hits since its release. In fact, in less than 24 hours of its release, the video crossed 3.5 lakh hits. That’s an astounding figure.

There are going to be three surprise factors in the film. First, Ajith’s rival in the flick is the Bollywood hunk Vidyut Jamwal, who made an impressive debut last year with Hindi film Force. Other than Vidyut Jamwal, Kingfisher hottie Bruna Abdullah is also in the film. Former Miss India Paravathy Omanakuttan, too, is making her Tamil debut in Billa 2, and will be seen romancing Ajith.

Directed by Chakri Toleti, the film is about David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu, who becomes Billa, a dreaded underworld don. Billa 2 is also releasing in Telugu with the title David Billa.
