As soon as Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone started to work in Ayan Mukherjee’s film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, the news of their amazing camaraderie on the sets of the film started doing the rounds. Are they really getting close again?
While talking to a tabloid, Deepika revealed that she now shares a comfortable equation with her ex, something that was missing before. “Today, Ranbir and I understand each other better. We have found a friendship that we didn’t have when we dated,” reveals the actress. So, is she love-struck again?
No! it still hasn’t happened to Deepika Padukone -- falling in love with the ex. She shares a good relationship with the Kapoor lad and is glad to have him in her life. In fact, Ranbir is a close confidante to Deeps. He was one among the few she turned to after her split with Siddharth Mallya.
The actress, whose next Cocktail will release soon, also talked about her single status. Deepika Padukone asserts that her relationships have taught her a few lessons, but doesn’t want to reveal much about them. Currently, as she is single she has more time for herself. Moreover, the actress says that she doesn’t have time to invest in a relationship, and has become more “guarded” too.
As far as Ranbir Kapoor is concerned, he is definitely a good friend of Deepika and will always be there for her, claims the actress.
It can be recalled that Deepika Padukone was hesitant to sign Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani because of Ranbir Kapoor, but later said yes. The couple has already finished the first leg of shooting for the film. |
