Sylvester Stallone’s son Sage planned to marry before death
Sylvester Stallone's son Sage Stallone, who was found dead, had planned to marry his girlfriend as early as next weekend.

The 36-year-old's attorney and longtime friend George Braunstein revealed the actor was very full of life and he wanted to tie the knot.

"He was very creative, energetic and very full of life. We were just joking about how he was going to get married and have a fun marriage. There was nothing dark or depressing, no problems, certainly no financial problems," Braunstein told eonline.com.

He claims Sage Stallone did not drink alcohol or take drugs.

"I never knew him to drink alcohol. I never saw him take drugs. I never knew of anything like that at all," he said.

Law enforcement sources said Sage may have been dead for a minimum of three or four days, possibly as long as a week, before his body was discovered by his housekeeper.

But Braunstein dismissed such claims, saying: "Sage was a really young, very sensitive, and very talented kid. There has been no indication that there was anything wrong in his life."


Sage Stallone was dead for several days

Sage Stallone, son of action star Sylvester Stallone, may have been dead for several days before his body was discovered, sources said.

Sage was 36. His body was discovered in his Hollywood Hills home Friday.

"Sage often spent days in his room which was littered with junk, including an enormous number of cigarette butts, beer and soda cans, and food. We are told there were two drawers filled with various pill bottles, some of which were huge," sources told tmz.com.

Sources say he was living like a hermit. No one had spoken with him since a week ago Friday. Although the housekeeper had been there earlier this week, she had specific ongoing instructions never to enter Sage's room. In fact, the housekeeper was told to never to even knock at the door.

Sources called the room disgusting, saying it reeked of various smells.

Sage's mother called the housekeeper Friday after being unable to reach him, asking her to stop by and check on him. That is when she discovered the body.

Law enforcement sources say Sage's death was an accident.
