Shahid Kapoor feels he is too young to be in the 100-crore club

As cliched as it may sound -- love it, or hate it, you just can’t ignore the Rs. 100-crore Bollywood club! The trend of films earning Rs. 100 crore or more has been at an all-time high! In an interview with a daily, Shahid Kapoor shared his views about the 100-crore club!

Shahid Kapoor said that when an actor signs a film, he does not think that the film will cross the 100-crore mark and that is why he should be a part of it! Shahid is quoted as saying: “The 100-crore films like Rowdy Rathore, Dabangg, and Agneepath were done by actors who have been in the industry for a much longer time than me.”

Shahid Kapoor feels he, and other actors of his age, should be given some more time for their films to reach that magical figure! However, he said that the film industry is growing at a quick rate and if today it is about 100 crore, in the future it will be about more than 100!

So, he insists that rather than concentrating on numbers and figures, it’s better to stay focused and honest to your work! True that!
