Box Office: 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' off to a good start
Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor’s comedy woos movie buffs

Box Office: 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' off to a good start
In an industry where both sex and comedy sell well, a sex comedy was only expected to take a good start at box office. This Friday’s release Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, despite being slammed by many critics, opened well at box office.

As per early reports, the film opened well in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune, registering an audience response between 60 percent and 75 percent. This despite the Ramadan month being underway and a good chunk of movie buffs staying away from theatres.

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum registered a good opening day and going by the initial audience reaction, the bawdy comedy of Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh has been appreciated. The response was, however, a bit on the low side at single screen theatres.

The film has released with 1400 prints and is expected to record a good opening weekend as the footfalls are likely to go up on Saturday and Sunday.

The last week’s Hollywood release The Dark Knight Rises concluded its first week at Indian box office with a decent collection of Rs. 25.25 crore.

Cocktail rounded off its second week with a total collection of about Rs. 71 crore net. The film is a HIT.

The coming week would see the release of Sunny Leone’s Jism 2.
