Did Katrina Kaif pray for the success of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’?

A fortnight before the release of her film Ek Tha Tiger, actress Katrina Kaif visited the Ajmer Sharif dargah. Did she pray for the film’s success at the saint’s shrine?

Katrina Kaif’s visit to the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti comes in the wake of a recent diktat by the head of the dargah that film stars should be banned from visiting the dargah to pray for the success of their films.

Ignoring the diktat, Katrina Kaif visited the dargah in the early hours on Wednesday. She was reportedly accompanied by Ali Abbas Zafar, who directed her in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

We hear that the duo reached the dargah at 6.30 in the morning to avoid the Ramadan rush. According to the khadim, Katrina Kaif stayed at the dargah for about half an hour, during which she offered her prayers, and also untied a mannat ka dhaga (wish-making thread).

Katrina’s visit to the dargah just two weeks before the release of Ek Tha Tiger may not be a coincidence. Earlier, too she has visited the shrine before the release of her films.
