Aishwarya Rai shoots after a gap of eight months

More than eight months after the birth of her daughter Aaradhya, Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai has returned to work.

No, Aishwarya hasn’t begun filming any Bollywood movie, but she recently shot for a jewellery brand she endorses. The actress is reported to have lost a lot of post-pregnancy weight now and looked much slimmer at the shoot.

It’s no secret that Aishwarya Rai was at the receiving end of the flak for being overweight even months after the birth of Aaradhya. However, she didn’t pay much heed to all the bluster by the fashion police, and continued to remain comfortable with her plump figure.

The actress has nonetheless been trying to get in shape and we hear that she was looking her best in many months for the jewellery ad that she recently shot.

Reportedly, the ad also features a few underwater shots. It’s not entirely clear if Aishwarya Rai gave a few underwater shots herself.

As for movies, Ash may not sign any yet as she is focused on her motherly duties with Aaradhya Bachchan.
