Ready to introduce three newcomers to Bollywood with his film Student Of The Year, Karan Johar feels responsible for the launch of their acting careers but says the trio is a talented bunch.
Karan Johar says that his next directorial venture Student Of The Year (SOTY) is a big responsibility on him as the future of three newcomers depends upon the film's box office performance.
"The film is a big responsibility on Dharma Production's shoulders and mine. We are launching the career of three new faces through this film - Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. All of them are very promising and talented. So, we as a production house have to make sure that we stand up to the expectation of all," said Karan.
He was in the capital to cheer for his designer friend Manish Malhotra, who presented his couture collection Saturday at the Delhi Couture Week.
Alia Bhatt is filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan's daughter; Varun Dhawan is director David Dahwan's son, while Siddharth Malhotra is a model. Their fate will be decided when "SOTY" hits screens Oct 19.
The first trailer of "SOTY" was launched Aug 2 and Karan says he has "planned an elaborate promotional activities" to create awareness about the film.
