|A lot has been said and written about Tiger Shroff’s big debut. First, it was said that Aamir Khan will launch him, and now the boy has already signed his first film, titled Heropanti -- a name that heavily draws from his dad Jackie Shroff’s first film Hero.
A Sajid Nadiadwala production, Heropanti, will show Tiger Shroff as the rough-tough lover boy from a small town. The news is that Tiger will be playing a character from a small, parched, dusty North Indian town. The role sounds quite similar to Arjun Kapoor’s in the film Ishaqzaade. Yes, and that’s the dilemma for the team of Heropanti: how to set the two stories and more importantly the two characters apart?
Written by Sanjeev Dutta, who has earlier given emotional films like Life In A Metro and Page 3, Heropanti has completely different subject from Ishaqzaade, reveal insiders. But since both the movies have used the dusty lands of North India as their backdrop, it’s a tough task to make Heropanti look different in ambience and the characters.
Coming to Tiger Shroff, the young bloke has already started preparing for the role. The action and dance are a big part of the script, and the boy says that he has been training really hard for those. Till now, the shooting location is not finalized. The makers aren’t interested in shooting in Lucknow or Varanasi because Ishaqzaade too was shot in UP.
Tiger says that he will be spending a month in the town chosen for shooting, and is confident about his acting, while the makers are making sure that no one sees even a hint of Arjun in Tiger.
The heroine of the film is not yet finalized. The hunt is on!
