Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will solemnize their five-year long steady relationship with a court marriage, reports say.

The couple may themselves be in denial but mom Sharmila Tagore has spilled the beans about a possible October 16 wedding. We hear that it would be a court marriage, because Saif Ali Khan reportedly visited the office of Bandra marriage registrar on September 12 to file an application for a marriage.

The actor filed in all the details and documents, and as per procedure Saif and Kareena can tie the knot any time a month after the application, which means any day after October 12.

Meanwhile, Sharmila Tagore has reportedly sent out invitations for Dawat-e-Walima on October 18. The said dinner is traditionally hosted a day after a couple’s wedding.

So putting two and two together, it appears that October 16 or 17 will be the day when Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will become man and wife.

Saif is presently in London and Kareena Kapoor flew there to join him on Friday which is her birthday. It’s also the day when her much-anticipated film Heroine releases. The two might be planning on some pre-wedding shopping in London.

According to buzz, Saif Ali Khan’s sisters Soha and Saba will wear dresses from mom Sharmila Tagore’s trousseau for the wedding.
