Shahrukh Khan wasn’t in favour of doing love stories
Guess what? The man whom millions of fans hail as “King of Romance” was doubtful if he would ever make a cut as a romantic hero. Shahrukh Khan has revealed that he wasn’t in favour of doing love stories at the start of his career.

We all know that Shahrukh Khan carved a niche for himself in Bollywood with a slew of intense roles at the start of his career, some of them even starring him as a character with negative shades. His very first movie, Deewana, in 1992 had him playing an obsessed lover but there wasn’t much romantic about the character.

It was with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 1995 that Shahrukh Khan took the first dip into the pool of love.

“I was so anti doing love stories because I thought I am not good with them. I remember Yashji tell me, till you love, nobody will love you back. So true,” Shahrukh Khan tweeted.

SRK is seen returning to romance in Yash Chopra’s last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan which is one of the most awaited films of 2012, set to release on November 13. It has the superstar romancing Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Meanwhile, a new song from Jab Tak Hai Jaan will be released soon. We’ll bring it to you as soon as it is out.
