If you thought there’s nothing bold that Vidya Balan can’t do, here’s an instance that the feisty actress has indeed drawn a few lines that she won’t cross.
One thing Vidya won’t do, it appears, is use foul language in public. It was apparent at a recent book launch by author Munmun Ghosh. Vidya read out loud a few passages from the book, but she made sure not to verbalize the cuss words.
Whenever the F-word appeared in the passage, Vidya Balan said ‘beep’ instead of f***. At first the audiences couldn’t figure out what was happening, but it soon became clear that Vidya was beeping out the F-word.
It is believed that she later told the author Munmun Ghosh that there was no way she was going to say those words in public.
The book titled ‘Hooked’ is about three young single women, their relationships with men and the urge for fulfilling all their dreams. Vidya Balan said that she identifies with the story in the book.
“I have been too busy since the past 3 years of my life to read a book. This is the first book I am reading in all this while and I really seem to identify with this book,” Balan said.
