The song Ishq Shava was supposedly the second track to come out from the musically rich album of Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan, but the makers delayed it for the love ballad Saans. Now, when Ishq Shava has finally hit the web and is playing on TV, what’s the reaction?
Well, if we go by the music, it’s catchy and kicking, and would appeal to the youth. A R Rahman was so right in roping in Raghav Mathur, the ‘Angel Eyes’ singer, for the song. Raghav’s unique voice mixed with the sensuous vocals of Shilpa Rao, makes the song an enthralling experience. Not to forget the zippy Arabic music fused nicely with the varied techno sounds.
Coming to the video: It gives a peek into the sizzling chemistry of Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The street dance moves have a bit of tap and a bit of jazz, seamlessly blending in with what we all know as Bollywood dance form. Katrina excels, while Shahrukh impresses.
