Huma Qureshi is far from a dieting, anorexic, size-zero craving actress. Given a chance, the girl likes to indulge her palate on street food.
Yup! The Gangs of Wasseypur beauty is now looking forward to the release of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana with co-star Kunal Kapoor and it’s quite befitting of the two to pamper their taste buds and talk of food while promoting the film.
Huma confesses: “I like street food a lot, kuch chatpata, masaledar, I like, and I think my favourite dish at the moment is chicken khurana, kyonki yeh world ki sabse amazing chicken dish hai.”
Her co-star Kunal Kapoor also claims to be a foodie, but Huma is quick to announce that she is more of a foodie than him.
“I think of the two of us, I am more foodie,” Huma Qureshi said, but Kunal Kapoor is quick with the rejoinder: “Zyada foodie bhi hai, aur zyada accha khana bhi pakati hain.”
Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana is a film about an ingenious recipe of a chicken dish whose sole possessor is now old, frail and uncommunicative. So when Kunal Kapoor’s London-returned character plans to restart the old family eatery, he has to rediscover the recipe.
The film is directed by Sameer Sharma and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It hits the theatres this Friday.
