Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan turned one on Friday and her birthday celebration was a rather quiet but intimate affair for the Bachchans.
Amitabh Bachchan, the family patriarch who was not just the first to announce Aishwarya’s pregnancy and even the birth of Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011, to the world, shared the birthday pictures of the little one with his fans.
“Aaradhya's 1st birthday !! Just family and the silence peace and quiet after many hectic evenings .. your blessings and love !!” Amitabh Bachchan tweeted.
The superstar shared two pictures of Aaradhya Bachchan taken on her birthday. One of them had the birthday girl with her parents Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. Another one had Aaradhya with Abhishek (see next page).
Earlier, Aishwarya Rai had confirmed that Aaradhya’s birthday would be a private affair.
“Time just flies and now she (Aaradhya) will turn one year old. For Aaradhya's first Diwali, we had both friends and family at our place but for her first birthday, we plan to keep it a private and family affair. It will be with family and my parents,” Ash had said.
For a good part of Aaradhya Bachchan’s first year, the Bachchans were not open about sharing her pics with the media. But that has clearly changed now.
