Helping others is nothing new for Salman Khan, who is popular among the fans for his large heartedness. The actor is known to have helped actresses like Katrina Kaif, Zarine Khan and Sonakshi Sinha to find a foothold in the industry. Now he has taken a shine to the bongshell Bipasha Basu.

Bipasha Basu has been roped in by Salman Khan as the brand ambassador for Sohail Khan’s Mumbai team in the upcoming Celebrity Cricket League season. The Mumbai team has Salman Khan as its captain, and you know when the ‘Dabangg’ star is at the helm of affairs, he takes his own decisions.

As the insiders claim, this announcement is significant since Bipasha and Salman had been known to share cold vibes until last year. Reportedly, Salman and John Abraham had issues during a world tour that they did many years back. Since Bipasha was dating John around that time, naturally she wasn’t in Salman Khan’s good books.

But in the year 2012, Salman-Bips not only mend fences, they also developed a fondness for each other. A few months back, the two were even spotted outside a restaurant, claim some media reports. Bipasha Basu is even close to Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan. She always attends Arpita’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

But the announcement of Bips as the new ambassador for Sallu’s CCL team has come as a surprise for many. “It is all the more surprising as Bipasha has picked ahead of Salman’s favourite women Kangna Ranaut, Sonakshi Sinha and Zarine Khan,” tells a source to a tabloid.

Moreover, Bipasha will soon come on Sallu’s show Bigg Boss 6 to release her new fitness DVD, and both the stars will be seen having fun and frolic.
