Former lovers can rarely be friends, and going by the cold vibes between John Abraham and Bipasha Basu since their break-up, one can safely say there’s no love lost between them.
How? Well, to start with, Bipasha Basu has gone all out in bonding with John’s one-time foe Salman Khan. She recently launched her fitness DVD on Salman’s show Bigg Boss 6; she is the new face of Celebrity Cricket League (after being prodded on by Salman); and she was a special guest at the superstar’s birthday bash on the night of Dec 26.
On the other hand, John Abraham too isn’t full of post-break-up warmth towards Bips. He was asked at a recent event if he is open to working with Bipasha Basu again, and John coldly replied: “I haven't thought about working with her and it's not even on my mind.” Period.
Now, we hear that John and Bipasha are likely to share the same podium at an upcoming marathon in Mumbai, and neither of them is excited at the prospect of doing so. It’s no secret that both of them are fitness freaks and want to be associated with the event, but the idea of sharing the same platform with each other punctures their exuberance.
Since their break-up, John Abraham has moved on and is presently dating Priya Runchal whom he plans to marry, probably in 2013. Bipasha Basu, on the other hand, has been single and enjoying a lot of attention from the likes of Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and now Salman Khan, all of whom she calls her ‘friends’.
