Shocking: Salman Khan’s show flops in Dubai
Salman Khan’s show in Dubai earlier this month was a flop with hardly 7000 people turning up at the auditorium that had the capacity of 18000.

If you think Salman Khan is an unfailing crowd-puller, this might change your view. For the superstar’s show with Priyanka Chopra, Zarine Khan and Sophie Choudry at the Dubai Festival City to celebrate UAE national day was a dud, with more than half the auditorium empty.

Even the CEO of Creative Hub Events (the show’s organizers) Fatima Hayat admits the show was a flop.

“Yes, it's a shocker. Salman, Priyanka and the others could definitely have pulled it off much better,” Fatima is quoted as saying by Mumbai Mirror.

The show also saw a performance by the Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The organizers are trying to ascertain the reason behind such a tepid response to a show featuring Salman Khan, who has given back-to-back blockbusters at the box office and whose films are often a rage in Dubai.

It’s believed that the tickets of the show were very exorbitantly priced. Moreover, the show wasn’t publicized sufficiently. Lastly, the organizers were too optimistic about the crowd the show might pull and therefore organized it on a very large scale, despite some suggestions to the contrary.
