Sonam Kapoor calls it quits with Punit Malhotra?
Their on and off relationship has finally ended! Tinsel town is abuzz with murmurs that Sonam Kapoor and Punit Malhotra are headed for spiltsville. Though the couple never admitted that they are seeing each other, they were usually spotted together on movie dates at the city’s multiplexes.

Sonam Kapoor apparently found love when she started shooting for I Hate Luv Storys. It’s said that love blossomed between her and the director Punit Malhotra, nephew of Manish Malhotra, when the crew shifted to New Zealand to shoot some portions.

Thereafter, their romance was talked about sporadically in reports, but stayed below the media radar more often than not. But now, the amour has apparently come to an end.

This came to light at producer Ronnie Screwvala’s bash for newly-weds Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur. At the do, Sonam Kapoor was seen avoiding Punit Malhortra, and both of them preferred to be in separate corners.

“It was Sonam who decided to call it off. There had been constant buzz that the two had parted ways on and off. But this time it is for real and they have broken off,” a source is quoted as saying.

Of late, the couple was having a lot of differences, and as per insiders, Sonam’s mother Sunita was also apparently not too keen on their relationship. Abrupt shoot schedules and other commitments reportedly also played havoc in their relationship.
