Katrina Kaif soothes Neetu Kapoor’s nerves before performance with son Ranbir Kapoor

During an award show recently, when Katrina Kaif found out that Ranbir Kapoor’s mom Neetu Kapoor was nervous before her first stage performance in many years, the actress stepped forth to soothe Neetu Kapoor’s nerves.

Ranbir Kapoor’s dance performance with his gorgeous mom was one of the high points of the recently held Colors Screen Awards. During an interview, the actor even said that his mom was nervous before the performance. Neetu feared that she might fluff while matching steps with her dynamic and agile son on stage.

However, nothing of the sort happened and Neetu Kapoor pulled off a scintillating gig with son Ranbir, all thanks to Katrina Kaif who helped Neetu overcome her stage fright and even gave her a pep talk.

“Kat managed to up her morale. Neetuji was supposed to dance along with Ranbir. She was much tensed and that’s when she bumped into Kat,” a source is quoted as saying. Katrina apparently heard her out and came to her rescue.

As Katrina Kaif has performed several times on stage, she even told Neetu Kapoor what to do if she forgets her steps in front of the audience.

It’s learnt that Katrina shares a warm relation with Neetu Kapoor, who plays a major role in Ranbir’s life and his choices. Recently, there were reports that Katrina and Ranbir secretly celebrated New Year in New York. Their on-off relationship has been a staple for rumour mills.
