Bigg Boss 6 contestant Sapna Bhavnani has shed her inhibitions as well as clothes for the latest ad of PETA. The fierce lady, who boasts of an enviable clientele including celebs like Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif, has gone full monty to support the cause for animal rights.
The 41-year-old hairstylist has both her arms almost covered with various tattoos. For the advert, she gets to flaunt her inked body, and sits with her nude back facing the camera. PETA’s print advertisement asks people to be comfortable in their own skin and not to use fur and leather items. Sapna Bhavnani’s photo in the ad comes with the slogan “Ink, not mink” -- that perfectly suits her!
Sapna says that she educated herself and saw a few films on the cruelty that happens to animals. “I realised that it just wasn't worth it. I take a very strong stance on leather,” Sapna said it in a statement. The hairstylist has also asked people to go for Pleather, which is a great substitute for leather.
Though Sapna has acted in films like Pyaar Ke Side Effects, her stint with TV began with the show Bigg Boss 6. Known for her eccentric nature and quirky style sense, the lady likes to call a spade a spade. After getting evicted from the show, she even accused Salman Khan for being a male chauvinist.
This is not the first time Sapna has promoted PETA. She appeared two years ago in another PETA ad, holding a pair of scissors. The ad said, “Cut Hair, Not Frogs. Choose to Refuse to Dissect Animals”.
