First look: Ayushmann Khurrana and his ten heads on ‘Nautanki Saala!’ poster

For all those waiting for Ayushmann Khurrana’s new film after his awesomely successful Vicky Donor, here’s the first look of Nautanki Saala!. The actor is back but this time with ten heads. Yes, he looks just like RAAVAN.

Directed by Rohan Sippy, the movie is a light-hearted comedy. Ayushmann Khurrana gets to play Ram Parmar, a theatre actor. Surprisingly, this Ram is good in enacting the role of Raavan. One day he meets a lonely Mandar Lele, essayed by Kunaal Roy Kapur. The two become friends and thus begins the comedy of errors.

That Ayushmann is a good actor is now known, and there is no doubting the acting credentials of Kunaal Roy Kapur after his comedic role in Delhi Belly, and together they look great draamebaaz duo. The poster also says Nautanki Saala! -- Fool 2 Draamebaaz.

Describing his character in the film, Ayushmann says that his role of a theatre artist has shades of grey. Nautanki Saala! also stars Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma. Actor Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in a cameo in the film.

The first look launch of Nautanki Saala! was full on drama, and happened on the busy Link Road in Andheri on January 23. Both the actors performed the famous suicide scene from Sholay near a big hoarding. Ayushmann Khurrana was Jai, and Kunaal Roy Kapoor played Veeru, standing atop the hoarding, mouthing dialogues of Dharmendra. Kunaal later came down with the help of cable wires, and unveiled the first look poster.
