Salman Khan asks fans to go and watch 'Vishwaroopam'

Salman Khan comes out in support of Kamal Haasan
Salman Khan has spoken in support of Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan whose dream project Vishwaroopam has been banned from screening in Tamil Nadu because of objections by some Muslim groups.

“It is just a movie and there are only two kinds of movies - good or bad, hit and flop and only people who decide are ones who buy tickets. Hope each and every fan of his supports him like I am doing and (I) want all my fans to fully support him,” Salman wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter and also posted a photo with the slogan “I Support Kamal Haasan”.

Not stopping at that, Salman also urged his fans to go ahead and stand outside theatres and demand to watch Vishwaroopam.

“Then go stand outside the cinema hall and insist on seeing the film, it’s a movie dude, entertainment, what law and order problem on a movie? Go there insist that you wanna see it, there is a Supreme Court judgment that after the film is censored, nobody can stop it,” Salman Khan added.

The superstar also rued lack of support from state governments.

“Ek toh the industry does not get any support from anyone but the fans. Bus tax pe tax. Now they are stopping the releases of our movies. Wah,” Salman Khan mocked.

Kamal Haasan has already seen a lot of support from Bollywood. The likes of Shahrukh Khan, Mahesh Bhatt, Madhur Bhandarkar and many others have rallied behind him. Even Rajinikanth has urged the people to let Vishwaroopam release.

Kamal Haasan has invested his life’s savings into the film which has been made on an approximate budget of Rs. 100 crore.
