Art imitates life. And John Abraham’s self-centred character in the film I Me Aur Main is a bit of extension of his real self, says his co-star Chitrangada Singh.
According to the pretty lady, men, by some default setting, are a bit selfish deep within and it’s a characteristic that Ishaan (John Abraham) in I Me Aur Main displays inadvertently. In the movie, John plays her live-in boyfriend.
“This is the right casting of John because I must say that he’s selfish and all of that, but there is a default setting in men that they are genetically self centred,” Chitrangada says.
Talking about the character of Ishaan in the film, Chitrangada Singh says he is “an adorable jerk” and even concurs that John Abraham is “a bit like that”.

Well, rest assured that John Abraham won’t be slighted by Chitrangada Singh’s assertion. Recently, he himself admitted that he’s the most imperfect man one can find.
“I am not perfect. I am the most imperfect man. Any man who says that he is perfect, trust me, it's a lie. I have tried. I have lied… I am trying to be a better human being,” John recently said at I Me Aur Main press meet.
