Aamir Khan turns 48, celebrates with 'Dhoom 3' team in Switzerland

Bollywood’s most socially conscious superstar, the talented, choosy, and perfectionist Aamir Khan turns 48 today. Join ApunKaChoice in wishing him a very happy birthday.

Alas, what would be missing this year is the annual ritual of Aamir Khan cutting his birthday cake with the media persons in his building compound. He is presently in Switzerland, shooting for the Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom 3.

It’s a known fact that every year Aamir chooses to be with his family on his birthday. But this year, work has beckoned him to Switzerland. And though wife Kiran Rao and son Azad had recently joined for him the shoot of Peekay in Rajasthan, it’s not possible for them to fly to Switzerland where Dhoom 3 is being shot on a tight schedule and their presence might only distract Aamir.

However, we hear the team of Dhoom 3, helmed by director Vijay Krishna Acharya, have chalked out plans to make Aamir’s birthday special today. Reportedly, the team has ordered a special birthday cake, to be cut by the superstar on the sets.

There might even be a dinner party for the Dhoom 3 crew in the evening.

So, home away from home, Aamir Khan’s birthday will indeed have a bit of dhoom.

We wish Aamir a Happy Birthday and many more good films and great deeds in the future.
