Earlier, John Abraham said he would love it if he gets a National Award for Shootout At Wadala, and now he says the film will reintroduce him as an actor. No wonder the brawny star has high hopes pinned to the upcoming film.
During a press meet, John Abraham touted Shootout at Wadala as his Vaastav. He said: “Am sure Shootout will do (for me) what Vaastav did for Sanjay Dutt -- present him in a never-seen-before way; I am hoping the same would happen to me. However, the final word is always with the audiences.”
John Abraham, who plays the gangster Manya Surve in the film, added: “You know, I keep saying this that the film is the reintroduction of John Abraham.”
The music and item numbers of Shootout at Wadala are already on the top of the charts; John said that he loved all the three item songs in the film. “When I heard Laila, my first reaction was that it has a feel of Amitabh Bachchan’s Jumma Chumma De De, which is great,” said John.
